Together, we are Strong
The SALT (Serving the Aged Lovingly Today) Program brings young women ages 18-40 together with seniors. Young women engage in a one-to-two-week experience serving alongside Carmelite Sisters.
At its core, the SALT Carmelite program fosters respect for the dignity of people in all stages of life, with particular emphasis to homes served by the Carmelite Sisters. The person-centered care program bridges the gap between these two generations both in the Catholic Church and in the world.
